Why I Wrote NAKED. - And Why You Might Not Be Ready.

A Note From The Author

Let me be honest. This book is not for the faint of heart nor the overly religious. It’s for the woman who has done everything right and still ended up wronged. The woman who loves Jesus but doesn’t always love what His people have done in His name. The woman who is tired of hiding behind healed and ready to tell the truth about what it cost her to survive.

I didn’t write NAKED. as a safe offering. I wrote it as a surgical one, cutting through every illusion, performance, and narrative I once carried to please people, protect my image, or preserve a version of me that was palatable.

If you think this is just another Christian devotional in overtly religious packaging, clutch your pearls, baby, because this isn’t that. This is NAKED and you may not be ready.

This is the part where faith meets flesh and refuses to flinch. Where we talk about church wounds. Where we untangle the toxic theology that made you believe suffering was synonymous with holiness. Where we cry over daddy issues, sit with our sacred rage, and still find room to worship. This is the deep end of deliverance. And I wrote it naked.

Not just physically stripped, but emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically laid bare. Page after page, I let the truth speak. I let the old me grieve. And I let the woman I was becoming breathe.

NAKED. isn’t for the saved who are stuck in performance. It’s for the solid and scarred. The women who love hard, cry in parking lots, carry their family on their back, and still show up looking like grace in heels. It’s for the woman who knows God, but finally wants to know herself too.

If you’re reading this, you’ve either already unraveled or you’re on the verge. Good. You’re in the right place.

Let this book be your mirror. Let it mess with your comfort. Let it make you question who told you being a woman of God meant being silent, small, or safe.

Gird your loins, girls. We’re not just healing anymore. We’re becoming. And becoming requires… getting NAKED.
